Join us in Marrakech for a colorful and transformational 8-day, 7-night journey through the chakras. Yoga offerings and daily activities will build upon each other and progress from the root chakra to the crown, so you leave feeling balanced, liberated and empowered. From laid back days around the pool to bargaining for authentic goods in town; an excursion to the Atlas Mountains and even a Moroccan cooking class & a spa day, this retreat has it all.

Yoga classes will range from yin to high intensity vinyasa and everywhere in between. All classes are suitable for all levels- we think an immersive week learning about the chakras is a perfect way to start your yoga practice!

Prepare to have all of your senses awakened in the cultural gateway city of Marrakesh. Artistry is woven into the fabric of Moroccan culture and the city center is steeped in the energy of the local craftspeople. Admire the Islamic architecture adorned in intricate tiles and marble carvings, and name your price for authentic carpets, ceramics, lamps and spices.

Outside the city lies the Atlas Mountains, a range that extends through Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria, and separates the Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines from the Sahara desert. The area is rich in minerals that fuel the Moroccan economy, and dotted with remote berber villages that exist off of the land and natural resources.

Our retreat will be held at Peacock Pavilions, a gorgeous 3-bungalow property set in an olive grove outside the city with our own private yoga studio, pool and team of chefs and coordinators.



Alice & Farah met completing their 300-hr YTT together in Sri Lanka. With a shared love for exotic travel and the transformational power of yoga, Colors Of Morocco Yoga Retreat was born. Get the benefit of hands on instruction and personal attention from two 500-hour certified instructors with complementary strengths and playful yet educational teaching styles. Classes will incorporate asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breath work) and meditation.

Hi- I’m Alice! I’m a yoga teacher and blogger based out of San Diego, traveling the world in pursuit of delicious plant-based food, amazing yoga experiences, and outdoor activities. My goal is always to explore the pulse of a destination, and live and breathe its culture while I am there. I have been teaching yoga for almost four years and practicing for nine, and it is the only constant in my otherwise unpredictable life. I love sharing yoga with others, especially the chakra system, as I believe it’s the key to unlocking ourselves. I can’t wait to explore Morocco with you!

Let me introduce myself, I’m Farah Nofal.

I am from Egypt, and have been an active leader in the Cairo wellness community for more than 5 years. My main form of training now is Yoga, however I am an ex basketball player, track and field, cross-fit and functional training athlete. Educating and teaching myself about flexibility and yoga changed my perspective on fitness and health, discovering how good my body is truly meant to feel and move. As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I believe in Bio Individuality and seek to spread health awareness and education everyday.

Traveling is my second nature and what truly feeds my soul. I believe that culture is caught, not taught.

Saturday, March 30 - Welcome - Check in at 4pm, slow flow yoga class, welcome dinner & drinks.

✳ Beginning on our first full day, coffee, tea, and fruit will be available starting at 6:30am, yoga begins at 8am, and breakfast is served at 9:30am. All meals and classes are included, but you are welcome to opt out and do your own thing whenever you like. All times may be modified slightly to best honor the flow of the week.

Sunday, March 31 - Root Chakra - Morning yoga, breakfast + tour of the medina. Yin yoga & dinner at Peacock Pavilions in the evening.

Monday, April 1 - Sacral Chakra - Morning yoga, breakfast + free time to enjoy the property. Afternoon passion & creativity workshop + Moroccan cooking class at night.

Tuesday, April 2 - Solar Plexus Chakra - Morning yoga, breakfast, Atlas Mountains day hike & picnic lunch. Yin yoga & dinner at Peacock Pavilions in the evening.

Wednesday, April 3 - Heart Chakra - Morning yoga, breakfast + free day to explore or relax on your own. Yin yoga + guided journaling & dinner in the evening

Thursday, April 4 - Throat Chakra - Morning yoga, breakfast + free day. Evening throat chakra workshop & dinner.

Friday, April 5 - Third Eye Chakra - Morning yoga, breakfast + spa treatment at bains de hammam. Evening henna, live entertainment & final supper party.

Saturday, April 6 - Crown Chakra - Morning yoga, breakfast & goodbyes.

We have selected the artisanal and hand-built Peacock Pavilions to be our home oasis for our 8 day / 7 night retreat. The property features 3 bungalows set in an old olive grove with a sprawling outdoor space featuring a private pool, yoga studio and outdoor cinema. Each of the bungalows boast plenty of shared spaces, dining terraces, kitchens stocked with snacks and refreshments, and chic North African inspired decor.



Healthy and nourishing breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks are included in your retreat package and we can cater to all dietary preferences. Most meals will be served farm fresh at Peacock Pavilions and we will enjoy a few group meals offsite at carefully selected cafes and restaurants known for quality and fresh ingredients. Expect to indulge your tastebuds with colorful and authentic Moroccan dishes.

✳ Airfare is not included in the price of your retreat and is to be booked on your own. We recommend using the app Hopper to track and watch flights so you are notified when prices are at their best rate, and we are also more than happy to recommend flight paths to book.

If you are coming from Southern California, roundtrip flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Marrakech (RAK) can be found for <$800…. which is more affordable than from San Diego ( which average ~$1,400). Take the Amtrak train San Diego to LA and back.

How to get there…


Book your flight into Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK) arriving Saturday March 30, 2019. Aim for a flight that arrives mid afternoon, check-in begins at 4pm.

We’ll organize group transportation from the airport to Peacock Pavilions once we have flight information. Transfer costs are included in your retreat package.


Book your return flight for Saturday, April 6, 2019. The retreat ends at 11am, and airport transportation will be organized for you according to your travel time.
